Rope or stand

Rope — included Matching cedar stand +$20

The stand is cedar from the same board and takes the same finish, so the set matches. With rope it hangs off a limb or a hook; on the stand it sits on a shelf, a mantel or a counter.

Engraving (optional)

Names, farms, families, dates. Send me the wording and any picture you're working from — I draw it first, and I price it when I've seen it. A single word and a full scene aren't the same job.

Anything else you want done to it

Custom work is $45 an hour plus materials at cost + 25%, with half down. If what you've written changes the price, I tell you the number first — nothing gets charged you haven't agreed to.

What it is

Same build as the porch swing, different shape. The back is scalloped — two dips cut across the top instead of a straight run — and it's wider, the loveseat rather than the single seat.

It's the one I'd pick for a feeder, because it holds more and the wider back keeps the weather off it. It hangs from rope the same way, and it takes the same stand.

Cedar throughout, sanded smooth, no sharp edges anywhere a hand or a bird is going to land.
