Solid black walnut sign block, hand-picked straight from the mill and finished in my shop in Owingsville, Kentucky.
The lettering is burned into the wood — no paint, no vinyl, no stickers, nothing to peel off in three months. Front face chamfered, sanded smooth, and finished with two coats of polyurethane.
Thick enough to stand on its own on a shelf, mantel, windowsill or bar cart. About 3" tall and 6.5" wide.
Black walnut runs anywhere from deep chocolate to a pale cream stripe where the sapwood comes through, and every board is different. Some blocks are all dark, some have that light streak running through them. Yours won't look exactly like the photo, and that's the point of buying handmade.
