Solid eastern red cedar, cut and engraved in Owingsville, Kentucky. Sold bare with no finish, on purpose — a sealer would trap the aromatic oils that give cedar its smell. Expect it to be strongly aromatic for about three months. As that fades, a light pass with 220 grit sandpaper opens the wood back up and brings the scent right back.
